Appearance: Light amber.

Nose: Distinctive liquorice and bourbon on the nose. Burnt honeycomb and toffee.

Palate: Rich barley-oak sweetness. Bourbon, molassed sugar and liquorice.

Finish: A long, oaked finish. Silky toffee at the very end.

Comment: Made from select Indian barley grown at the base of the Himalayas. It is carefully mashed and distilled in small batches and matured in oak barrels at a very unique 3,000 feet above sea level at Bangalore. The name "Amrut" derives from Indian Mytholgy and means the golden pot containing the Elixir of Life.
