Domaine des Cretes Marsanne Roussanne. The Marsanne & Roussanne grapes are sourced from vineyards that sit next to the river "La Clamoux", North East of Carcassonne.

Fresh, vibrant and youthful fruit, lemony with a touch of mango & some complexity. The instant fruit leads to a full, rounded palate, building to a lovely textured mouth-feel which is rich but savoury: tropical pear threaded with marzipan integrating seamlessly with oaky nuances. Quite a complex (but lovely) everlasting finish.

Try with herby roast chicken or turkey, creamy pasta dishes or rabbit in white wine sauce. Would also go well with Parma ham & salami or lighter fruit based puddings. It is listed in our "Highly Recommended "list because it is fantastic value for money & a little unusual.
